Browser Alert: Netscape 6 Final
At last, the wait is over--the final version of Netscape 6 has arrived.
The latest incarnation of Netscape's browser features a new, slick
interface; integration with Netscape WebMail; designer skins, called
Themes, that let you customize Netscape's look and feel; and the ability
to save all your Web passwords in one encrypted file on your PC. Netscape
6 also incorporates AOL Instant Messenger directly into the interface,
and you'll be able to initiate chat sessions from within email messages.
Another new feature, dubbed My Sidebar, lets you pull content from a
variety of Web sites as you browse in the main window. Best of all,
Netscape 6's new Gecko rendering engine is much more standards-compliant
than previous versions of Communicator.
